Director Henderson meets with composer John
Morgan, conductor William
Stromberg (who wrote additional music), and Anna
Bonn (composer of jazz piece) at Hotel
Ukraine in Moscow. The recording, which took place on a sound
stage at Russia's largest film studio, Mosfilm,
was performed by the Moscow
Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Conductor Stromberg, and
went without a hitch. Composer Morgan monitored the recording session
in the mixing booth with engineer Genadiy Papin. The two days following
the recording, director Henderson gets whirlwind tour of Moscow,
visiting Red
Square, St.
Basil's Cathedral, the
Kremlin, and even manages quick visit to
the Russian countryside.
